“As a surgeon, I practice evidence-based medicine,” said Dr. Miller. “My interest in medicine began early. Both of my parents worked as X-ray technicians, and I spent much of my childhood in hospitals. From a young age, I aspired to become a physician. I served as a paramedic firefighter in Tucson, Arizona, and that experience inspired me to pursue medical school. It provided valuable insight into patient care and strengthened my commitment to medicine.

"I chose surgery because I appreciated the procedural aspect of the specialty and the opportunity to directly improve patient outcomes. I was drawn to vascular surgery because of the precision, complexity and variety involved in the procedures. In my surgical practice, I perform a broad range of procedures, including thoracic endovascular aortic repair (TEVAR), endovascular aortic aneurysm repair (EVAR), transcarotid artery revascularization (TCAR), carotid endarterectomy, aortic bypass, lower extremity bypass, angiograms, balloon angioplasty and stenting, atherectomy, arterial and venous thrombectomy, pulmonary artery endovascular thrombectomy and dialysis access creation and management.

"Outside of the clinic, my wife, son and I run a cattle ranch and own thoroughbred racehorses. My wife and I are also avid readers.”
