UT Health Tyler
"My care philosophy is rooted in the belief that women should have every option available to them in their healthcare. From lifestyle changes and medications to minimally invasive procedures and surgery, today’s medicine offers many paths to wellness. With the right education and guidance, I believe patients are empowered to choose what best fits their individual needs," said Dr. Boren.
"I chose a career in medicine because I have always been fascinated by the human body and motivated by the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. I was especially drawn to women’s health because of the unique and lifelong challenges women experience, including menstruation, pregnancy and menopause.
"I care for girls from infancy through women in their 90s, and I am honored to support them through each stage of life. I am also passionate about medical education and enjoy helping future physicians understand the importance of hormones, fertility and contraception in every field of medicine."
Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, sewing and being a proud mom of kids involved in band, drumline, orchestra and swim.
Dr. Boren is employed as a clinical faculty physician at The University of Texas at Tyler Health Science Center under the UT Tyler School of Medicine.
