UT Health Tyler
Dr. Greg Pogue’s number one priority is helping his patients get back into their lives. With medical training from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston and residency training at Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Dr. Pogue uses his knowledge and expertise to treat patients with mental, emotional and chemical disorders. He truly enjoys making a difference. “Often people come in feeling hopeless because of their illness. It’s so satisfying to see treatment succeed and the patient improve.”
In addition to offering inpatient and outpatient services, Dr. Pogue is the medical director of admissions and referrals. With each of his patients, his goal is to help them overcome their problems and break down the stereotypes that surround mental illness. “There’s nothing unusual or bad about needing psychiatric treatment. The important thing is to get the help you need.”
Dr. Pogue is employed as a clinical faculty physician at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler under the UT Tyler School of Medicine.
