Ajay Pachika, MD, is a board-certified interventional cardiologist with CVC Tyler Cardiovascular Consultants. He practices general and interventional cardiology, with specialization in percutaneous coronary and peripheral intervention. "I'm very passionate about the work I do."
Growing up in India, he went to medical school to become what he most admired, a physician. "They were my role models because of their passion for the profession. No matter what time of day or night, patients came first." He enjoys using his skills to help cardiac patients improve their quality of life. "That's what's most rewarding, to see that they're back with their families, back with their kids, able to lead a normal life."
Dr. Pachika earned his bachelor of medicine and bachelor of surgery from Kakatiya Medical College in Warangal, India. He completed his cardiology fellowship at The University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky, and an interventional cardiology fellowship at Oklahoma University Hospital in Oklahoma City.
