Ashley Tunstall, MSN, APRN, FNP-C is a certified family nurse practitioner who practices at the UT Health East Texas Digestive Disease Center in Tyler. She is a third-generation healthcare provider and truly enjoys all aspects of patient care. “There is no better feeling than seeing a patient’s health and quality of life improve as a result of being diagnosed promptly and receiving adequate treatment.”
Tunstall chose to focus on gastrointestinal (GI) health because it cannot only affect physical health, but psychological and emotional health as well. “My job as a provider is not only to educate patients on GI disease and promote good GI health, but also to restore health and manage GI conditions so that patients can live their best life.”
Tunstall’s hobbies include reading and decorating. She loves to shop for antiques and vintage home décor, as well as watching documentaries on historical events and wars.
